Tomorrow will be a better day. Life blows some days, but hey, it gets better, right? Eventually I’ll have a life filled with snowy Subarus.

I have struggled with staying positive most of my post college life. One thought I had in Texas was:
At times life sucks, then you find yourself 1,000 RPM from the red line in 4th on an empty Farm to Market road and think maybe everything isn’t so bad.

Yup...my day was garbage too, but at least it is done and 2 more days until the weekend. The cat is sitting next to me as I work and I am listening to the latest soon Moog from Mighty Car Mods released on repeat (he wrote the song awhile ago and it was in a video awhile back , but I only found out he had released the song with that video then when their latest video came out a few days ago), so I am feeling fairly calm and destressed...at least until the morning!

Right now, my thought is “hey, at least I’m not in Toronto anymore!”

Sometimes it feels like it may never get better. Then I look back 7 years ago and realize while sometimes progress feels slow, it’s definitely there. I keep reminding myself of all the things I have going for me, in addition to how bad things used to be. I feel like if I don’t add some perspective, things that go wrong during the day can really get to me.

I’m with you on that. Seven years ago I was much worse off. I’m in a pretty good place now, it’s just that not every day can be excellent. Perspective definitely helps.
